The incredibly talented HRTLSS (pronounced Heartless) has released his brand-new single ‘Blood Moon’ – a track that concludes his debut EP of the same title.

If you haven’t heard of, or listened to HRTLSS yet, you’re missing out! He’s out there creating his own unique sound let’s call it ‘Uniqcore’ (a blend of rock, pop, metal and electronic music which blends into one insanely addictive sound).
In a very short period, HRTLSS has truly smashed his way into the UK alternative rock scene. Only having started in 2023, HRTLSS has already received support from national radio in the form of BBC Radio 1’s Future Alternative with Nels Hylton, Introducing Rock with Alyx Holcombe (Track Of The Week) and Kerrang Radio’s Fresh Blood show with Alex Baker, as well as editorial playlist support from multiple digital streaming platforms.
As a high school drop out and former metal guitarist, HRTLSS spent his youth touring Europe supporting some of todays biggest metal bands including the likes of Architects, Suicide Silence, Bullet for My Valentine, Enter Shikari and more.
His new single ‘Blood Moon’ joins the previously released single’s ‘Daylight’ and ‘Hive’ to form his highly anticipated debut EP, ‘Blood Moon’ which is out now on all platforms.
Speaking about the new single, HRTLSS adds,
“Blood Moon is the epilogue to this Vampire story, darkness has engulfed the character and they are fully in control of their thirst, power and prowess. Lyrically, the song is conversational in nature. Imagine a wealthy, mysterious man attempting to convince someone they could be more and shouldn’t be so hesitant to accept their potential, much like our character has. With hidden references to vampirism in almost every sentence, it’s as if the character is subliminally teasing the listener and telling them exactly what they are, as if they’re proud of what they have become and want you to know it.”
Creating such a detailed story like this within the 3 songs on the ‘Blood Moon’ EP is a concept that I’ve not come across before. I think it’s industry changing, and something more bands should do. I love it.
