BLVDES – Cut Me Out

BLVDES’ new track ‘Cut Me Out’ is out tomorrow!

Christian Fisher, the lead vocalist of the incredible pop punk/easycore band SETTLE YOUR SCORES, has been dropping solo tracks under the alias BLVDES since 2021. During that time he’s dropped some total bangers!

Christian explains why he started BLVDES:

“I wanted to start BLVDES because I wanted to experiment with genres outside of pop punk, because I love other pop and rock genres.”

BLVDES is quite an experimental project with different genres coming through in various tracks, like his debut track ‘Lucifer’ is an emo, piano track similar to the likes of Jamestown Story, and Making April. Another example is his track ‘Spiderweb’, which is more of a pop track with a very different type of vocal arrangement. And his track ‘Generation: Instance’ is more metalcore.

‘Cut Me Out’ is more of a post-hardcore vibe. In my opinion it’s his best track released under BLVDES so far! The track definitely shows off Christian’s incredible vocal range and I honestly can’t get enough of it!

Overall ‘Cut Me Out’ is about toxicity, particularly within a romantic relationship that you’re trying to move on from, but the other person comes back into your life, and starts the cycle all over again.

If you’re a fan of bands like, Story Of The Year, Point North, or Wage War, then this release is right down your street!

Watch the official video premiere for ‘Cut Me Open’ by BLVDES at midnight EST (05:00 GMT), and also on all streaming platforms.
