Louisiana based metal/hardcore band DECOY with their brutal vocals, aggressively dissonant guitars and pummeling low end, have released a new EP ‘Re:Selection’.

Within the track ‘Personality Program’, the main message is that humanity’s personalities have been altered by the ubiquitous presence of social media in our lives and the younger generation essentially swipe for everything. They portray this message with their ferocious heavy metalcore sound.
They’ve incorporated meaningful vocals into the other two tracks on the ‘Re:Selection’ EP, ‘Smg’ and “Natural Selection’ concentrating on mental health, inner turmoil and personal demons that surround all of us.
Overall I’m impressed with this EP and the relevant subjects that are portrayed within. It’s brutal yet purposeful, intense yet resolute and down right heavy!
Having already played with some big hitters in the hardcore scene like Knocked Loose, Crowbar, Chamber, Sanction, and Queensway, Decoy are definitely a band to watch as they takeover the scene with their unique sound. Look for new music and tours coming from Decoy very soon.
