FIRE – Oakes

Festival season is approaching, and we are thrilled to present this summer’s standout release! Inspired by incredible bands such as Catfish and The Bottlemen and The Hunna, ‘OAKES’ has unveiled their latest single, “Fire” which is a captivating soundtrack perfect for the upcoming summer months.

Released at the end of May, ‘OAKES,’ formed in 2023, and has already made an impression with previous hits like “The One” and “Outside.” If you’re in search of the ideal indie soundscape, these tracks are a must-listen.

“Fire” is a beautifully harmonious song that begins with a gradual buildup, concluding in a powerful chorus. The serene guitar tones sparkle, complementing the smooth, raw vocals that guide you through this musical masterpiece. ‘OAKES’ excels at engaging their audience, with catchy lyrics that will have you singing along after just one listen and a refined energy that you just can’t beat.

For ‘OAKES’ especially they’ve achieved some incredible achievements such as supporting Brave Liason at The Portland Arms, headlining “NMG presents” at The Blue Moon, and a performance in the Peterborough United fan-park before a game in March.

After a couple of listens already they’ve got me chanting the lyrics so well done lads! Go check them out on all socials now to keep up to date about their latest releases!
