HOWRU? – CHEMICAL MAKEUP

Denver, Colorado based emo rock band HOWRU? have smashed into the scene with their debut track ‘CHEMICAL MAKEUP’.

HOWRU? started from the instrumental demos by Tanner Vaughn Stephen. The band’s mission is to put a positive spin on the dark brooding genre that is emo rock.

The band got together officially last year after finding the perfect lineup, and have been working hard to develop their sound. They’ve produced a catalog of tracks in time for the 2024 summer season.

The group considers their sound a mix
between bands like Papa Roach, My
Chemical Romance, Rise Against and
Bring Me the Horizon.

I can’t believe ‘CHEMICAL MAKEUP’ is their debut track! It’s produced so well, and they’re already sounding like an established band in the scene.

The track reminds me of one of my favourite albums of all time, ‘Hours’ by Funeral For A Friend. So, HOWRU? have a new fan in me for sure, and I now can’t wait to hear their new music to see if the same style continues.

To sum up, this track is sick AF and you need to listen to it, follow them and listen to every single track they ever drop. HOWRU?. Remember that name. They are going to do big things, I’m calling it!

Check them out on their socials and streaming platforms here.

We’ve added HOWRU? ‘CHEMICAL MAKEUP’ to our Punkio’s Pop Punk Picks Spotify playlist!
