What a great year so far for Pop Punk fans! Manchester based Pop Punk band “Stay Safe” and the well known “As December Falls” have collaborated to create a harmonious masterpiece inspired by bands such as ‘New Found Glory’ and ‘A Day To Remember’.
‘Somehow’ is Stay Safe’s latest release following their previous single called ‘Crash & Burn’ featuring the incredible Saxophonist Saxl Rose.
Opening the track with a low filtered hint of the song, they widen that wall of sound to enter this dynamic soundscape that hits us straight away, exquisitely produced to perfection. The beautiful riffs carry us to the Verse where we’re met with the coherent sound of their vocalist underlined by a lively backline of the band.
We then deviate our attention to the Feature of the Track Bethany Curtis, gracing us with her serene vocals, giving us that clear and crisp emotion and storytelling capability. Pushing us back to the chorus where we’re met with a pleasant harmony and duet between the two vocalists.
That’s not all they have to offer, when you think the song couldn’t get any better, they boost through that sound barrier to gift us a chunky distorted riff sure to make you bop your heads along to.
This has got to be up there with my personal Top Releases of 2024, such a great single with a ton of potential! If you haven’t heard of Stay Safe yet, you surely will in the future so keep an eye on these!
