Ava Valianti – January

Massachusetts singer-songwriter Ava Valianti recently released her 3rd track “January”.

This track is something quite different to what we usually review on Punkio, but there was something about “January” that appealed to me and I just had to write a review!

Ava Valianti, is an indie folk artist from Newbury, Massachusetts that has recently come onto the music scene as of 2023, but is already producing tracks that are enticing fans around the globe.

When asked about her latest single Valianti said,

January is a song about loving someone from afar, knowing that the person they’re with is a better fit than you are. The hurt is still there and the feelings don’t go away, but you know that as hard as you might try, you’re not what they need. The song reflects the impact of memories, even as life moves forward, and the feeling of being tethered to the past and what
could have been.”

Ava Valianti is definitely one to watch out for with her stunning vocals and instrumental talents, bringing that acoustic indie-folk, pop sound that we’ve been waiting for.

Alongside her producer Chris Plante of CP Pro Audio, Ava is currently hard at work in the studio, creating
new music that will pave the way for an upcoming EP release due out in late summer/early autumn. I look forward to that!
