Howdy folks, got a great new release for you today! ‘Fxrrvst’ have released their latest track called “CBAYAOM” (I can’t be all you ask of me) just this month and it has already subverted our standards and blown it out the park!
For people who don’t know ‘fxrrvst’ are described as your friendly neighbourhood-queer alternative based band located in Toronto, Canada (one of my dream destinations). They’ve accomplished so much since 2015 when they first established with things such as: Over 1.5 Million Spotify Streams and Radio plays on major radio stations across the globe! An inspiration to say the least.
Anyways, their latest single has everything that you need to have that feel good summer vibe, resoundingly similar to bands such as ‘Future Teens’, ‘Thrice’ and ‘The Hunna’. Starting off strong with a harmonious string section emerging into this refined and polished soundscape.
Hitting us straight away with crystal clear vocals guiding us through the storyline of the song, with the hidden background guitars sneaking under the main melody ascending us towards a pandemonium of sound. Beautifully mixed so you can audibly hear every little detail of the track.
Overall, this release has to be up there for me personally, I’m not sure about you but I will for sure be putting this on all of my playlists, giving ‘fxrrvst’ the attention and recognition that they deserve!
