Do you fancy a curry with the pop punk band, Monkie Mind?
Well their latest track is an ode to their favourite Indian curry house in South Shields on ‘Ocean Road’.
Damn, I really want a curry now!
I never thought a song about a curry could be so catchy, but these guys have done it, and I’m sure it’s going to be a fan favourite when played at gigs! I for sure when I see them live will expect to hear this banger!
The band formed in 2018, and is made up of established musicians from Newcastle, UK. They came together to create catchy upbeat pop punk songs reminiscent of the classic nineties sound with lots of tongue in cheek humour, melodic hooks and sing along choruses.
The band are signed to Canadian based label People of Punk Rock Records and have a full-length album out now called ‘Monkey Mind’, which was released back in 2021.
The latest single ‘Ocean Road’ is due for release on 15th May and the video for the single is now up on their YouTube Channel and was shot in one of the restaurants on Ocean Road.
