High on Laughing Gas and Feeling Funky

Reggae rock core quartet P-Funk North have recently released a new track called ‘Laughing Gas’.

P-Funk North originated in North Plainfield, New Jersey in 2013. The band have shared the stage with well known bands like, The Offspring, The Wailers, Slightly Stoopid, Sublime with Rome and many more!

The track hooks you in straight away with a get up and go style melody, and that doesn’t stop at any point during the track.

After listening to a few of their other tracks, ‘Laughing Gas’ seems like a slightly different direction to their previous stuff. There’s more of a faster ska- punk influence than previous releases, and I’m very intrigued to hear what’s next following this brilliant track. Written by singer/songwriter/bassist David Sloyan, “Laughing Gas” was produced, engineered and mixed in house by drummer Ryan Weil as mastered by David Irish at Pot of Gold Recording. (Reel Big Fish, Tunnel Vision)

I hope you enjoyed our quick review of ‘Laughing Gas’ by P-Funk North. Go on, go and give it a listen.
