Bristol, UK based trio Mosaic are back with another feel good track called ‘Fairytale‘!
Mosaic has made significant strides in advancing the evolution of Pop Punk by infusing their music with awesome riffs and punchy Indie Pop choruses.
They have skillfully transformed high-brow rhythmic intricacy into captivating and anthemic hits. Their music is characterised by distinctive instrumentals that are adorned with sharp melodic hooks, resonant vocal harmonies, and feel good lyrics, providing a euphoric listening experience for their audience.
According to bassist Chris Brain,
“‘Fairytale’ takes a playful look on a seemingly dysfunctional relationship, which, to an outsider, looks as though it’s destined to fail. Although fraught with arguments and incompatibility, Fairytale relays the message that it’s impossible to judge others’ lives based on the small glimpses we see.”
The track begins with a blend of Queens of The Stone Age-esque instrumentals, followed by Pop Punk-style vocals and rhythmic patterns intertwined with alternative rock elements.
The ‘Shut up’ drop is absolutely fantastic, with a strong QOTSA and Foo Fighters style.
I strongly recommend checking out Mosaic and their one-of-a-kind blend of sounds. It’s evident that each band member has an eclectic taste in music.
They’ve only released ‘Fairytale’ so far in 2024. Let’s cross our fingers and hope they bless us with a few more tracks by the end of the year!
